Mexico

Mexico, officially known as the United Mexican States, is one of the largest economies in Latin America and a key player in international trade, manufacturing, energy, agriculture, and services. Accreditation Body ISO 17011

The National Accreditation Body of Mexico operating in accordance with ISO/IEC 17011 is the Entidad Mexicana de Acreditación (ema). The ema is officially recognized by the Mexican government as the organization responsible for accrediting conformity assessment bodies to ensure their technical competence, impartiality, and consistent performance in line with international standards.

Under ISO/IEC 17011, ema provides accreditation to testing and calibration laboratories (ISO/IEC 17025), medical laboratories (ISO 15189), inspection bodies (ISO/IEC 17020), certification bodies for management systems (ISO/IEC 17021), product certification bodies (ISO/IEC 17065), and validation and verification bodies for greenhouse gas and other schemes.

Inspection Body ISO 17020
